Avery out for season

St. Louis Rams wide receiver Donnie Avery will miss the entire 2010 NFL season after tearing his ACL in a preseason game.

Avery was streaking down the far sideline trying to make a big catch when his right leg suddenly buckled and caused him to fall immediately to the turf.

He then reached for his leg and rolled around the ground in pain before eventually being carted off the field.

Before being carted off, New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker came over to offer his support since he went through a similar injury at the end of last season. (Read More…)
